The survey of ethnomedicinal plants was conducted among the Paliyans and Mudhuvans of Agamalai forest area of Western Ghats resulted in the documentation of 33 species of medicinal plants belonging to 25 families with one Pteridophyte, one Gymnosperm and 31 Angiosperms.
